Poles in Berlin 2023 Catalogue for Polish Film Institute
This project was carried out for the Polish Film Institute to create an online catalog for Poles in Berlin. The catalog promotes Polish participants of the Berlin International Film Festival, the European Film Market, and the accompanying events.
Project Goal
The goal was to develop a cohesive and contemporary layout for the catalog. Each element had to be visually consistent, user-friendly, and aligned with the Polish Film Institute’s visual identity. Drawing inspiration from retro art and using a carefully selected color palette, the design reflects the institute’s activities. The interior layout mirrors the cover, which presents an artistic collage, ensuring a clear and engaging presentation of the catalog’s key information.
The scope of work included:
Planning & Collaboration
- Close cooperation with the client to define objectives, target audience, and content structure. Outlining the project scope included catalog layout design, content organization, and visual identity alignment.
Design & Development
- The main goal was to develop a cohesive and visually engaging online catalog. Each element was designed to be user-friendly, visually consistent, and aligned with the institute’s branding. Special attention was given to readability, accessibility, and ensuring a smooth user experience for both industry professionals and festival attendees.
Production & Adaptation
- Preparing digital-ready files optimized for web performance and various devices. Ensuring professional finishing, high-quality visuals, and consistent design throughout the catalog.
Final Delivery
- Delivering a complete, ready-to-use online catalog that effectively promotes Polish participants, supports the institute’s marketing goals, and provides assets for future updates and adaptations.
