Handbook for teaching staff - International Rescue Committee
This project was carried out for the International Rescue Committee to create a handbook for educators working with students affected by crisis. The goal was to provide a practical, supportive, and visually engaging tool for teachers, helping them navigate challenging classroom situations with empathy and effectiveness.

The goal was to develop a cohesive and professional layout for the handbook. Each element had to be visually consistent, user-friendly, and aligned with the organization’s visual identity to support educators’ work and enhance the overall learning experience
The scope of work included:
Planning & Collaboration
- Close cooperation with the client to define objectives, content structure, and pedagogical requirements. Outlining the scope included designing the handbook layout and developing custom illustrations.
Design & Development
- Our team created an original layout and produced unique, hand-crafted illustrations that give the handbook a distinctive and memorable character. The visual design was carefully aligned with the handbook’s educational purpose, ensuring clarity, readability, and engagement for educators.
Production & Adaptation
- Preparing print-ready files optimized for different formats and distribution channels.
- Ensuring professional finishing, high-quality visuals, and consistent design across all pages.
Final Delivery
- Delivering a complete, ready-to-use handbook that supports educators in their work with students affected by crisis, while providing assets for potential future updates and adaptations.
